Kate Boundy
Production Executive
Kate joined Voltage in 2013 and is responsible for the day-to-day managing and support of Voltage’s projects, including Inside the Factory (BBC Two) and DNA Journey (ITV). Before joining Voltage, Kate worked as a Production Manager for over 10 years with multiple indies, including the ground-breaking natural history series The Burrowers (BBC Two) for Dragonfly Film & TV.

Lucy Carter
Executive Producer - Bristol
Lucy is an award-winning executive producer of documentary and specialist factual series with credits including, Who Do You Think You Are? (BBC Two), The Mekong River with Sue Perkins (BBC Two), Hunters of the South Seas (BBC Two) Kate Humble: Living with Nomads (BBC Two), Ian Hislop’s Not Forgotten (Channel 4) and The World’s Most Expensive Food (Channel 4). At Voltage, she heads up our regional base in Bristol, as well as oversees the company’s long-running ratings hit Inside the Factory (BBC Two).

Jon Crisp
Executive Producer
Having delivered new formats including the critically acclaimed Save Our Squad with David Beckham (Disney+) and hugely successful Teen First Dates (Channel 4), Jon originally joined Voltage in 2022 to Exec Produce the first series of hit Channel 4 format Tempting Fortune.
Returning to Voltage in 2023, Jon has a passion for bringing people-led storytelling to a mainstream audience. His experience producing hit returning series includes First Dates where he spent 5 seasons as Exec, How To Get A Council House, My Secret Past, Famous Rich and Homeless, The Undateables, and Junior Doctors.
Jon Crisp

Sanjay Singhal
CEO / Founder
Sanjay is the award-winning founder of Voltage TV. With more than 30 years experience of film-making he has created multiple television formats and overseen hundreds of hours of primetime shows.
He specializes in complex productions that are hard to execute including the ground-breaking Plane Crash (C4/Discovery), The British Tribe Next Door and Tempting Fortune (C4).
He’s been nominated for several BAFTAs and was an Emmy nominee in 2024 for Scoop, Voltage’s first drama co-production.
Sanjay started his career as a BBC trainee, working on Newsnight and then as the Washington Producer for BBC News.

Steve Nam
Managing Director

Helen Docherty

A member of the team since day one, she has played a role in all commissions at Voltage including Inside the Factory (BBC Two), DNA Journey (ITV) and the BAFTA-nominated film One Deadly Weekend in America (BBC Three). Helen started her career in the BBC’s science unit where she developed and produced a number of award-winning factual series.

Amanda Hibbitts
Director of Production & Operations
As Director of Production & Operations, Amanda is responsible for the budgeting and delivery of all Voltage productions. Ariane Howie
Head of Development
Since joining the Voltage development team in January 2020, Ariane has played a key role in securing a number of commissions; including The Trial of Louise Woodward (ITV), Amanda and Alan’s Italian Job (BBC One) and Tempting Fortune (Channel 4). Prior to joining Voltage, Ariane spent seven years at Twofour, where she helped to develop series including; The Real Marigold on Tour (BBC One), Win The Wilderness (BBC Two) and Confessions of a Junior Doctor (Channel 4).

Jake Lloyd
Personal Assistant
Jake joined Voltage in January 2025 to oversee the diaries of Sanjay and Steve, and is the go-to person for all queries relating to them. As a part of the office team with Skye, he also assists across all productions from the development to the edit, as well as managing our website and social media. Jake’s drive for TV and finding a story stems from his time living in Qatar. Upon returning to the UK, Jake attended Leeds Beckett University to study Broadcast Media Technologies, before working as a runner for multiple companies.

Jan has led some Voltage’s most exciting projects, such as Bin Laden; Road to 9/11 (Channel 4) and The British Tribe Next Door (Channel 4).
